Taiyou Con is pleased to welcome back Charlene Ingram!!

Charlene Ingram is the most sparkling dazzling member of the entire anime industry. As former Director of Animation Marketing at VIZ Media, she manages Naruto Shippuden and has launched several of the world’s most beloved anime titles including Sailor Moon, One Punch Man, Boruto and Ranma 1/2. Not only has she been a guest at every Taiyou Con, this year she is celebrating 10+ years in the anime industry!

Charlene is a true fan-to-professional success story. She started as a humble cosplayer whose sewing skills eventually led her to a gig as a professional seamstress in Las Vegas. She also co-owned and founded her own cosplay wig company before entering the anime industry in 2009 as a brand manager for FUNimation, where she launched Panty & Stocking, Hetalia, Summer Wars, and Mass Effect, and managed DragonBall Z and One Piece.

Charlene is intensely passionate about working in the industry and says that sharing anime with the world is a dream come true. You can still catch her cosplaying something frilly and covered in rhinestones from time to time! If you have any questions about cosplay or breaking into the anime industry, she will know the answer – but she especially enjoys talking about Love Live! and cats.

Currently, she is having a great time in her new role at Capcom.
