2. What methods of payment do you accept for pre-registration? Online payment is processed through PayPal, which means you can use a credit or debit card without creating a PayPal account. With a PayPal account, funds can be drawn either from your PayPal balance or your bank account, whichever you select. If you require a different method of payment, please email us at

10. If I pre-register, will I receive my badge in the mail? We do not mail badges. Your PayPal receipt will serve as confirmation of your purchase, and you will use to pick up your badge at the convention. Return to top
11. I pre-registered but I can no longer attend Taiyou Con. Can I have a refund? We are sorry you cannot attend, but badges to Taiyou Con are non-refundable. We suggest selling or giving your badge to someone else interested in attending the convention. Return to top
12. Can I purchase a badge at the convention? Yes. You may purchase a badge at the convention for $45. We will also have single-day passes available if you cannot attend the full three days. Return to top
13. What methods of payment do you accept for at-con registration? We accept credit/debit cards and cash. Photo ID will be required for credit/debit card transactions. Return to top
14. I can only attend one of the days of the convention. Do I need to buy the $35 badge? No. We will be offering single-day passes at the convention. Single-day badges on Friday and Saturday are $25 each, and Sunday single-day passes are $20. Return to top

16. I rented a hotel room. Do I still need to purchase a badge? Yes. While we greatly appreciate your support of the convention by staying at the Hilton, you still need to purchase a badge to attend events at the convention. Return to top
17. What happens if I lose my badge at the convention? If your badge is lost, check with the Information Desk to see if someone turned it in. If your badge was not turned in, you may purchase a replacement badge for a small fee at Registration. Return to top

20. I have a child I would like to bring to the convention. How much are badges for children? Children 10 and under are free with the purchase of either a full-event or single-day badge. Multiple children will be admitted with the purchase of a single badge. Return to top
21. Can I pick up a badge for a friend? You may only pick up the number of badges for which you pre-registered. You may not pick up a pre-registered badge for another attendee--they must be present to pick it up. Return to top
